I saw this picture online and it just reminded me that everyone can achieve their goals. I have no idea what this little chap had just done… but if I was to guess I would say he has just convinced his Dad to walk 30 minutes up the beach to buy a big ice cream!

Old Lady Strikes Back

If there is anyone who deserves a medal and the thanks of the public it's this old lady. While others stand by and watch she runs about 100 metres to the scene of the crime to give robbers a good handbagging. I would like to give this lady the most honourable title of Most Flambatious! We could most likely learn a lot from her.

On the other hand I have heard a story that this was not actually an old lady but a local man who was experimenting with being a cross-dresser. Well she / he does run rather fast for a pensioner!

Happiest Day of The Year - so they say

Monday the 31st January is supposed to be the happiest day of the year in the UK… Why? Well most of us have just got paid. Did you get paid today? Did you look at your bank balance and breathe a sigh of relief?

Hmmm… but in the back of your mind you know that most of it will be gone in standing orders and direct debits by Thursday!  So what are you going to do about that?
